This is a patriotic piece celebrating the good things America has done with its might.  It features a poor boys kite (made of recycled sticks and a newspaper) in front of two fancier kites.  Huge headlines on the paper make reference to Armstrong’s first step on the moon.   Point of Interest:  The title uses the past tense of “Read” so the proper pronunciation is just like “Red, White, and Blue”
